Hidden Quality

What you can’t see when choosing to make purchases is what lies beneath. Defects get hidden in the fabrication process. When this is your wooden house, it’s usually just a minor issue. The drywall should be hiding the mistakes. This can happen with steel products too. A structural member is too short but the welder welds it anyway. The structure is pulled unnaturally and when it’s loaded, these stresses could go unaccounted for. I’ve seen pictures of this in tower cranes and it’s simply not good for anyone. It’s human error. Modern manufacturing should be eliminating these problems. And this is true for the processes at Eichinger. You’ll find that structural elements are cut by CNC machines. Tubes run through a laser that rotates the cuts with speed and precision we couldn’t dream of performing as humans. Also with results we couldn’t dream of. We use indexing with tabs so ensure exact angles. Robots weld where they can on all of the gear. The results are picture perfect. When the process is repeatable and human error is removed, we venture towards perfection in the metal working world. If you become a dealer or a regular buyer of our products, we’d be happy to show you the process we use to ensure quality in every product we manufacture.
