Run Down Gear

Too often in the field I find run down gear. Gear that even if it were rated at one time, it’s not going to live up to the design currently. The cost of run down gear is lost production. Let’s face it, our employee costs are massive these days. 1 to 2 dollars a minute. So how many minutes on a job can they mess with a gate latch before it quietly becomes a liability? If there is an accident, what are the lost time and production cost there? Damage to other equipment. Damage to reputation as the jobsite leadership walks by and sees it. We really have to keep good gear on the site for just about every reason you can think of. No one wants the gear below to represent their company.
